Brainstory's new album Ripe has finally arrived, and its contents are very juicy indeed. In the run-up, the New York, Big Crown-signed trio have teased us with a number of singles, including 'Bye Bye', 'Seasons', and 'Scissors'. Now we can feast our ears on five more tracks, making the album seven tracks of psychedelic soul paradise. 'Rogers' is perhaps the most outlandish track on the record, featuring a curious bass line, enchanted synth and an almost frog-like instrument which plays a bizarre percussive melody. With slow and trip-hoppy nature, you can easily imagine the track being used by a rapper like Koreatown Oddity.
